Tips And Tricks To Increase Your CTR Thru Prosperent

If you are wondering how to increase your CTR (Click Thru Rate) with Prosperent. Here are some useful tricks that I’ve found that work well to get people to get your affiliates.

1) Blend Your Ads: If you have fonts that are different then the default then match the font type with the same as your ads. I’ve found that using a blue link has worked well for me but if you have different link colors then blend them to match as it will help bring your CTR up alot.

2)Delete The Actual Price off the product as it is displayed in Prosperent default. Some vistors of your site might have sticker shock and not click on the ad because of the price. I’ve found that deleting the price and just having some that says “Click For Price” ads an element of mystery around the product that vistors will want to check out.

4) Deleting The Boarder Around The Ad: For some reason the board around an ad creates ad blindness and will not help when it comes to getting people to click. I’ve found in my test deleting the board gets me more clicks

3)Placement: The Big Block Banner (500×250) seems to get the best CTR when it’s place above the content fold and below the title of a post. You’ll get the most click with this banner as it’s in front of the vistor most of the time.

4)Using Banners limited on the site: With regards to looking to spammy you only need a few placements of banners. You can presell the banners as the best possible deal for XXX products as well. Prosperent Vs. Adsense Who Wins?

As a Adsense publisher I know it’s tuff getting any kind of decent income from there system. Most people do one of two things when it comes to Adsense.

Make 100 Million Mini-Sites with poor or limited content hoping they can just get 1 .50 cent click per site per day across the whole network or there building these massive authority sites with unique content toward a higher paying keyword that can range anywhere from .50-30 dollars. Both are fine but what do you really want from your website. .50 cent clicks? Or a cut of the total sale price? This is where prosperent comes into play. Why only get .50-2.00 dollars per click when you converted an advertiser and make them a sale?

It doesn’t make any sense. Breaking this down even further. You send one person that for example buys a $500 dollar ring online. The advertiser on google pays you 1.00 for that click lets say. Bam! Great one dollar. You send a person they buy a ring thru Prosperent and you make 10% of $500 dollars which would be 50 bucks! If you average one dollar per click for that site you need to make 50 clicks to break even with a $50 dollar commission.

Folks your getting scammed with the dollars usually one cents per click model for product goods. You’d be better off putting adsense up on your site and writing down the companies that adsense targets and putting those up as affiliates. Now I don’t know about you but that takes alot of time. Finding Affilates and applying, getting accepted by them, finding the right banners, rotate different affiliates. It’s very time consuming. Since the similarities between Prosperent and the Amazon Associates program are closely related since they both do CPA banners on products but looking more closely at both programs you can see a big difference in both programs with regards to payout, the amount of products and the pros and cons of both systems.

-Low Commission. Capped Commission. 3%-10% on most goods. Nothing to write home about per item.

Conclusion: Amazon Associates has a bigger name and brand thus more trusted by online customers but the low commissions and payouts that take 90 days are nothing great! You can sell lots of different items on Amazon Associates but find yourself waiting 2 months for a low payout check. Most items I’ve sold thru the system are only 3%-5% of the total. Not super great compared to Indie affiliates that offer 20%-8% estimate on goods thru Prosperent. Plus NET 30 is way better so you can spend more on your advertising of your site and get that money back quicker.
